Upon completing the main structure of a 240-meter iconic skyscraper in a crowded city center, the general contractor faced a critical engineering dilemma: How to safely disassemble and lower the heavy inner climbing tower crane from the top of the building.
The project site posed severe operational hurdles:
1. No Ground Space for Mobile Cranes: Surrounded by active traffic and existing infrastructure, setting up large mobile cranes at ground level was impossible.
2. Severe Roof Load Limits: The structural capacity of the newly completed rooftop imposed strict limitations on equipment weight and foundation footprint.
